Mother Earth ~ ~
Mother Earth reminds us of our responsibility to conserve our resources and tend our garden, especially our inner one, so she is able to bring forth life in abundant forms over and over every season. Here she stands in her knitted woolen dress (sometimes she is a bit tired of her trusty well-worn brown one, and sneaks into her other secret favorite colors), hand-knit shawl, doting on her creations. About 7 – 8” tall, with sculpted face and a firm cloth-covered wooden base.
She has brown eyes, is wearing a brown wool dress with a little lace collar and a matching hand knit shawl in a chevron pattern. Judging from her still unruly looking hair she must have just woken up recently too! But it looks like it is crochet and can by styled if you wish.
